Charter Week Canary Islands21.2. – 28.2.2009, Charterweek Canary Iceland's 2009, SO LONG Yachting/ECC Yachts.
The Charterweek is organized by SO LONG Yachting and our Spanish partner ECC Yachts. In an One-Way-Cruise, we sail from La Palma passing El Hiero, La Gomera, Gran Canaria to Tenerife.
The weather in this area is dictated by the North-East Passat. A very dependable, even wind, that can reach up to 8 bft in the nozzle between the islands. In the lee of the islands, it then goes back to 2-3 bft up to the total windless. On the base of our sailing course, we always get the wind from the right side, therefore ideal for fast trips. Also the long hits of 50 – 60 sm per day are typical for the Canaries. It is a real blue water sailing area in the wideness of the Atlantic.
