2009 – Participation conditions

You charter a yacht accordingly to your ideas. Simply call us your crew size and your prefered Yacht type, your departure airport and whether you want to sail only during the Charterweek or another or several weeks longer. We will work out an offer for you!

If you want to take part as at individual, to second or to third without Skipper responsibility, the participation costs per person are Euro 495 plus one-way costs, shelf cash registers and flight costs. 

For the cabin cruise clients we organize the crews by SO LONG Yachting. Sailors, who would like to take over the skipper responsibility and who have the necessary know how, can be taken as the skipper for these crews on demand. For the board catering, harbour fee, diesel and other articles of consumption will be installed a board cash. The skipper is free from paying into the board cash and becomes catered.

The Charterweek is a One-Way-Cruise. That means, we take over the yachts from Tenerife to La Palma. The take over crews must fly back to Tenerife. The one-way-costs are ca. 300 Euro pro yacht and have to pay by each charter crew at embarkation. It is the same for single booker. At embarkation each crew member of the yacht pays one part of the one-way costs.

During the Charterweek, we from SO LONG Yachting and ECC are present, make a skippers briefing each morning, organize the mooring in the harbours and provide you with all information and measures in order to guarantee a sure sailing in this Passat area. We are helpful with renting of cars, to visit sights on the islands, etc. The tourism velvet of Tenerife and the Canary islands will support us with it after strengths.

If you can not sail a whole week with us, you can participate as well for less than one week. We organize the transfer back to Santa Cruz.

Use this sail event at the season start. Sail with us in the security of an organized Charterweek. You will come back surely in order then to explore this area on own fist.

Flight costs:
The flight to the Canaries takes place to La Palma and back from Tenerife. From the airport on La Palma it is very easy to use the public bus lines to the Marina. We will also organize conveyances for taxi-transfer, depending on the arrivals of the participants.
You can book the flights on your own fist. But naturally we like to organize it for you if you want.
