2009 – Participation conditions

You charter a yacht accordingly to your ideas. Tell us the number of persons for your crew and your preferred yacht type and whether you will sail only the Charter Week with us or if you like to sail one or more weeks longer. With these information we work out an offer for you.

If you want to take part as a single or with two or three participants without skipper responsibility, the participation costs per person are Euro 545,00 plus board cash and arrival costs. The price for a single cabin is Euro 990,00.

For the cabin cruise clients the crews are organised by SO LONG Yachting. For the board catering, harbour fee, diesel and other articles of consumption will be installed a board cash. The cost is around 20 Euro per person/day. The skipper is free from paying into the board cash and becomes catered.

For the right view of the tide situation we must work with the tide and stream tables of these areas. Also to notice for the calculation there are three different times: UTC, British summer time – UTC plus 1 hour and the French summer time UTC plus 2 hours.
On a detailed briefing for all participants at the beginning of the Charter Week we support you with the important information how to work with these tables.

We also organise daily skipper briefings during the week, where we work out the daily tide and cruise planing. We inform about the weather condition, the mooring situation in the harbours and all other information and measures that are necessary for a safe sailing in this extrem tide area.
Tide in St. Malo Weather and tide

The drop down dry with the yachts, which have an integral centre board needs special preparations. Especially it must be the right tide and the right anchorage. These information are as well points of the briefings.

Take the Charter Week to become acquainted with this super Atlantic area. Experience the tide navigation in practice how you have learnt it during the sailing driving licence check in the theory.

Arrival
The journey can occur with your car, by flight over Paris or by the train. One can book flights, e.g., directly on the homepage of AirFrance. Then from the airport Charles de Gaulle one goes with the RER and Metro up to the station PARIS MONTPARNASSE 1 ET 2 and rises there in the TGV after Saint Malo. Or you go by the night train to Paris (sleeping wagon or couchette coach) and the next morning further to Saint Malo.

We work together very successful with French partners since many years and can offer you yachts from 30´- 52´in the whole area of the Bretagne, the Cote Dázur and Corsica for your sailing vacation. If from La Trinité, St. Malo, Marseille, Antibes or Ajaccio and Bonifacio, we will find for you the right yacht.
