2011 – ProgramEvent course of the 9. Charterweek Canary Islands 2011, 19 Feb. 2011 -26 Feb. 2011

1. day, Saturday 19 Feb.2011 Arrival on Lanzarote, food purchase, check in of the yachts. In the evening a welcome party, you are invited from ECC and SO LONG Yachting.
2. day, Sunday 20 Feb.2011 Puerto Calero – La Sociedad/La Graciosa. First short cruise. The most important- to get to know the yacht and to organize the crew.
3. day, Monday 21 Feb.2011 La Sociedad/La Graciosa – Marina Rubicon/Lanzarote. Along the lava coast and the slag fields of Lanzarote.
4. day, Tuesday 22 Feb.2011 Marina Rubicon/Lanzarote – Gran Taraja/Fuerteventura. We sail the traditional Charterweek regatta according to Yardstick rule - the Dorada-Cup.
5. day, Wednesday 23 Feb.2011 Gran Tarajal/Fuerteventura – Puerto Mogan/Gran Canaria. Harbour day on Fuerteventura. Time to explore the island or go fishing on Tuna, Bonito or Dorades. Or you can make a comfortable sailing trip to another harbour of the island for example to Morro Jable. At 6 pm we start to the night cruise to Puerto Mogan on Gran Canaria, 102 nm.
6. day, Thursday 24 Feb.2011 Puerto Mogan/Gran Canaria, 102 nm. The right distance for a night cruise. Pure Atlantic sailing! Arrival in Puerto Mogan in the early afternoon.
7. day, Friday of 25 Feb.2011 Puerto Mogan/Gran Canaria – Marina San Miguel/Tenerife. End of cruise. In the evening a Good Bye party and presentation of the winners in Marina San Miguel/Tenerife. You are invited from ECC and SO LONG Yachting.
8. day, Saturday 26 Feb.2011 Departure.
On the 19 Feb.2011 we will organise a Welcome-Party on La Palma as a general meeting and on the 25 Feb.2011 there will be a Good-Bye party. The costs are carried by SO LONG Yachting and ECC. You are invited.The departure is planned for 26 Feb.2010. You can also extend your charter cruise. If there are problems with the flight connections, we can organize an overnight stay on board one of the yachts.
During the different stages there are several possibilities and enough time to evaluate the sailing days. Communication between the crews is necessary and will be supported from us with meetings in restaurants.
The waters of the Canary Islands have an abundance of fish. In the course of the Charterweek, we organize a fishing competition trolling for Bonito and Tuna with trolling-rods. The equipment will be supplied by us.
