The Charter Flotilla is organised by SO LONG Yachting.
We start from Burgtiefe on Fehmarn and sail into the Danish islands. The area is impressed of islands and a lot of little harbours.

The Baltic Sea is not a simple area because of many shallow banks, small departures between the islands and fjords. The navigator has a lot to do. The multifarious terrestrial navigation can be practised.

A highlight of the Charter Flotilla is the deep-sea fishing. All yachts installed with everything which is necessary for the deep-sea fishery. We are fishing on cod, herring and horn-pike. Afterwards the draught gets correctly prepared.

To take part on the Charter Flotilla has advantages for several reasons:

You get the possibility to become acquainted with the Baltic Sea area under direction of an experienced flotilla leader.

You got shortly a sailing licence and look for assistance on your first charter cruise.

You are a 2 person crew, your partner has not enough sailing practise and you look for the security of a flotilla.

Or you sailed before only small sailing boats and charter the first time a bigger yacht. What is necessary to know, which technical know how is used for bigger boat sailing.

We give tips and help for the harbour manoeuvre especially for little crews.
Why to moor forward into the box between the pales on the Baltic Sea? How to get the after-deck rope over the pale and how to get it back without laying cross in the box? How to drive backwards without the propeller effect of the motor? How to turn the yacht around on smallest place in the marina etc..

Every morning we have a skippers briefing. There we speak about the cruise planning for the day. This means, we make a weather analyse, have a look on the map for the sailing courses. Decide maybe a squadron driving on a very difficult crossing between islands. And discuss naturally the places at the next harbour.

All yachts are equipped with VHF. So it is possible to have contact to the escort vessel during the day.

Also as a single, with two or three persons you are sincerely welcome. You book on the leading vessel a berth or the cabin cruise clients become arranged as a charter crews.
