10. Blue Horizon Cup, 10.10.08 – 17.10.08 Athens-Athens

Following we show you the route and the program of the regatta. Depending from the weather and the situation in the harbours we decide latest in Athens at embarkation about the final route.

1.day, Friday 10.10.2008
Arrival, food purchase, check in of the yachts on Athens – Marina Kalamaki.
20:30 Welcome Party. EUROPE Yachts and SO LONG Yachting invite to a Greek cocktail party.


2.day, Saturday 11.10.2008
09:30 First briefing to inform the crews about the route and the rules of the regatta.
11:00 Free sailing. Every crew gets known to their yacht.

 

During the week we sail on at least 4 race days for the Blue Horizon Cup. The regatta turns are determined shortly of the wind situation. We go to the isles Poros, Ermioni, Hydra, Epidaurus und Aigina.


7.day, Thursday 16.10.2008
17:00 Arriving in Marina Kalamaki. 20:30 Goodbye Party. You are invited from Europe Yachts and SO LONG Yachting.

8.day, Friday 17.10.2008
9:30 Check out of the yachts. Departure.

During the different stages there are several possibilities and enough time to evaluate the regatta days. Communication between the crews is one of the goals of the Blue Horizon Cup and will be supported from us for example with meetings in greek tavernas or invitations on board of the yachts.

You become acquainted with other delighted Sailors and get new contacts. By the way new charter crews are growing up and you – today as a cabin cruise client – will be on the next Blue Horizon Cup with your own crew on your chartered yacht.
