Area information
With the houseboat you cruise on the largest reservoir in Europe, the Grande Lago. 250 square miles spread out over a length of 83 km and a circumference of 1160 km. The Grand Lake is located near the Spanish border.

1 weeks round tripAmieira: Visit Mourao, its castle and its fortress from the 13th century, Monsaraz with cobblestone streets and its arena in which bullfights still take place. Or the village of Luz, a sunken town, that was rebuilt on the shores of the lake. The lake has the best water quality and ivites you everywere for swimming and fishing. Nature lovers can find some unspoiled islands and landscapes.
